Aline Sierp is co-editor, together with Jenny Wuestenberg, of a special issue of the Journal of Contemporary European Studies on ‘Transnational Memory Politics in Europe’. This issue offers an empirical analysis of transnational mnemonic practices in Europe focusing on the construction of narratives that have the power to transcend national boundaries, as well as on the role of individual and institutional actors in driving those narratives.
