Maastricht University is organising a 24 hour AppChallenge@UM for students and employees to invent and build the next UM app. All ideas are welcome, from improving education and research to community building and sustainability. Start creating, brainstorming and developing your idea today and build the app during the 24 hours. Register before 19 March.
What: at the end of the 24 hour you have a functioning app or a mock-up of a functioning app related to Maastricht University
When: start creating, brainstorming and developing your idea today, build the app during the 24 hours on 19 April from 17.00 till 20 April 17.00
Who: all UM students and employees are welcome to join, either in teams (max. 5 per team) or individually
How: on 19&20 April we have a team of developers if necessary, access to software, data, and food & drinks available so you can work hard and aim for the win. Bring your own hardware!
Where: the challenge will be in the inner city of Maastricht, specific location to be determined.
Why: because it’s fun! It’s innovative! It’s a challenge! It allows you to help improve Maastricht University! And also because you can win € 2.500. There’s also a second and third prize of € 1.000 and € 500.
