Nantke Pecht receives Fellowship from University of Potsdam

Nantke Pecht has been offered a short-term fellowship in the research cluster SFB 1287 ‘Limits of Variability in Language’ at the University of Potsdam for 2018. For a period of three months, Nantke Pecht will carry out research within the project, ‘Integration of linguistic resources in highly diverse urban settings: Stretching the limits of variability’, set up by Prof. Heike Wiese and Ulrike Freywald. For more information, please see the website.

The Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) is an intergovernmental organisation based in Singapore which promotes understanding and cooperation between the people and institutions of both continents. Nominations open for the ISO Teacher of the Year award 2018

Colleges and universities in the Netherlands are invited to nominate their most inspiring, creative and innovative teachers for the title of Teacher of the Year 2018, organised by the Dutch National Students’ Association Organisation (Interstedelijk Studenten Overleg, ISO). Dutch students in the final phase of their master studies at a Dutch university are invited to apply for an internship at the Dutch Embassy in Vienna, during the period from 1 February 2018 to 31 July 2018. The Board of the Royal Dutch Society of Sciences will offer the J.C. Baak Prize 2017 of € 2,000, – to a student who has written a master thesis in one or more of the following areas of science: philosophy, jurisprudence, political science, international relations, sociology.
