The UM may propose one Post-Doctoral candidate for the AXA 2013 Post-Doctoral scheme. Funding will be provided for junior researchers with international exposure, who have an innovative proposal. The proposal must be related to topics in one of these three clusters of risks:
Environmental risks
Life risks
Socio-economic risks
Deadline for UM internal
applications is 14 March 2013 (17.00).
The internal selection procedure is as follows:
Step 1: Application by candidates by sending in a pre-proposal, containing a max two page summary of the application, and the CV of the applicant. Deadline: March 14, 2013 (17.00h)
Step 2: An internal senior Professor will evaluate the applications and advice the Executive Board. The principal criteria used to make a scientific and academic assessment of the applications submitted are: 1. Academic excellence of the candidate 2. Innovative nature and originality of the project 3. International scope of the host research laboratory 4. Feasibility of the project (environment, management, organisation) Feedback will be provided.
Step 3: The operational contact submits the names and emails of the pre-selected candidates, deadline: March 21, 2013 (12.00h)
Step 4: The candidates receive an email from the AXA Research Fund, providing them with an access and a password to fill in their on-line application, deadline: April 18, 2013 (12.00h)
Step 5: Publication of results: July 26, 2013
