In the PREMIUM project ‘Policy Report: How should the EU respond to the Ukraine conflict?‘, you will learn how to write cutting-edge research for policy makers. You will prepare a policy brief for a leading think tank in Brussels, including recommendations on how the EU should approach the current conflict in Ukraine. The application deadline is Sunday 8 February 2015.
The goal is to prepare a policy brief with recommendations on how the EU should approach (and possibly resolve) the current conflict in Ukraine, and how it ought to develop its relations with Eastern Partnership countries and the Russian Federation in the future. You will receive professional training in writing policy-oriented research, and have the opportunity to discuss your findings with professionals directly involved in the making of the EU’s policy towards its Eastern neighbours. At the end of the project, you will deliver your policy brief to an audience at a leading EU think tank (e.g. Martens Centre for European Studies) in Brussels.
