Call for Partnership Development in Smart Governance programme

The Social Sciences division of the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) invites researchers to apply for a small grant to be used to develop partnerships with external parties, such as private, public and societal organisations. This grant should be used to develop full research proposals focusing on the transition towards more efficient and smart forms of organisation and governance. The closing date for the submission of proposals is 28 May 2013.

This call for Partnership Development is the first phase of the programme Smart Governance. Researchers can apply for a grant that they can use for activities to develop partnerships with external parties. This grant should also be used to develop a full proposal in the domain of this programme which can be submitted in the second call of this programme set to open in September 2013, or for a call from another NWO programme or from any other national or international funding agency.

Who can apply? Researchers who intend to set up a consortium with one or more external partners from public, private or societal organisations and who in the near future would like to develop a full research proposal in the domain of the programme Smart Governance are invited to submit a proposal.

A contribution to this programme can be expected from researchers with a background in economics and business, psychology, sociology, law, public administration, political science and history.

The maximum budget which may be requested in this call is 20,000 euro per project.

Application deadline for the submission of proposals is 28 May 2013 at 14.00 hrs.
