The Toshiba International Foundation invites applications for its grants. These aim to support non-profit organisations wishing to undertake research, organise educational activities or host a symposium, lecture or seminar for the purpose of promoting international understanding of Japan.
Who can apply? Priority will be given to projects outside Japan. Grants are not awarded to individuals or for extended stay in Japan. The supported project or discrete part of the project should be completed in one fiscal year, though for discrete parts of continuing projects funding may be awarded for a maximum of three years. Applications should be submitted in either English or Japanese.
This call is repeated once a year and this year the deadline is 30 November 2013.
