Camilo Erlichman’s edited collection featured at Bochum University

On 30 January 2019, the University of Bochum, Germany, convened a workshop including a book presentation, reception, and panel discussion with local experts to celebrate an edited collection recently published by Camilo Erlichman together with Christopher Knowles: Transforming Occupation in the Western Zones of Germany: Politics, Everyday Life and Social Interactions, 1945-55 (Bloomsbury: London, 2018).

With the Federal Republic celebrating its 70th anniversary this year, as well as a recent decision by the parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) to create a new museum in Düsseldorf on the post-war history of NRW, the subject of the book has recently attracted considerable attention.
