Internships at Dutch embassy in Athens, September 2019 – January 2020

Each year, the Dutch embassy in Athens, Greece, offers four internships; two in the spring and two in the fall. One is related to communication and migration and one is in the Orange Grove project, related to innovation and sustainability. The internship has to be between five and six months. Candidates are invited to apply by Friday 31 May 2019.

Two internships at the Dutch embassy in Amman

The Dutch embassy in Amman currently has two internship positions open: one at the Economic and Development department and one at the Human Rights, Humanitarian Aid and Politics department, from July – December 2019.

Registrations open for the 1st Joint Project Study, in April – May

The 1st Joint Project Study has been designed for students from RWTH Aachen University, University of Hasselt, University of Liège, Zuyd University & UM who are interested in investigating ‘Cross-border Mobility and Public Transport Usage’ in the Euregio Meuse-Rhine empirically.

You will complete an interactive, comprehensive research process including questionnaire development, face-to-face interviews, data analysis and presentation.

Research internship: The Border Encyclopaedia

The Research Centre for Arts, Autonomy and Public Sphere, the Institute of Cartopology and Dear Hunter started the artistic research project ‘Border Encyclopaedia’ in an attempt to redefine an enrich the representation of borders on maps. In the project Border Encyclopedia we offer an internship for a student with affinity for doing artistic research (8 hrs/week, 1 March – 28 June).

Dutch-speaking Students Needed for Study on Giving-Behaviour, on 18 February

For a study on giving-behaviour, researchers from SBE need Dutch-speaking students to watch Dutch TV and to rate the TV show. You can help us in the BEElab of the School of Business and Economics. Next to a show-up fee of €13, you can win €100!

Become a Green Impact Project Assistant

Do you want to act on sustainability at UM, but don’t know what to do, where to start and who to contact? Do you dare to collaborate with UM staff? Get involved in the Green Impact Programme as a project assistant for +/- 1,5 h per week!

Call for Volunteers: Open Studios 2019 at Jan van Eyck Academie in March

We are looking for enthusiastic, proactive volunteers who could help us carry out Open Studios 2019 fruitfully and successfully. The volunteers’ tasks are going to involve preparing the premises for the exhibitions, helping with the project execution and making all visitors feel welcome.

Volunteers must be available from 25 February until 21 March.
