What happens with feedback at FASoS? New series: You said, we did

Have you ever wondered what changes are made at FASoS in response to your feedback through various channels? The Student Reps in cooperation with FASoS staff work hard to make FASoS an enjoyable place for everyone.

Keep an eye out for our upcoming series: ‘You said, we did’ to be updated on the latest changes.

Competition: we want your art in FASoS tutorial rooms

We would like the people of FASoS to help us decorate the tutorial rooms. Anyone can chip in and multiple people will be selected. This includes students, staff and supporting staff.

Send in your ideas to or to our Facebook page. The deadline is 27 January 2019.

FASoS Student Representatives are recruiting

Have you ever wondered what is going on behind the curtain in our Faculty? Would you like to represent the interests of the students and improve the atmosphere in the faculty?
If you’re a 1st year European Studies or Arts & Culture student, motivated in engaging yourself in University matters, then join the student reps and send your motivation letter and CV to Application deadline is Friday 21 September.

Join the BA ES or AC Facebook Group

The FASoS Student Representatives and the SoFASoS Study Association have created separate Facebook groups for the new students of FASoS.

If you are a first year student, you can join the European Studies or Arts & Culture Facebook group with all your fellow students to exchange ideas, notes, resources, and ask questions to your classmates.

For European Studies there is also a programme specific Facebook page.

Student Representatives Year Report 2017/2018 published

Have you always wondered what the FASoS Student Representatives are up to? Would you like to know what they have been working on last year? If so, you can read the Student Representatives Year Report 2017-2018.

Study Saturday @ FASoS from 09.00-19.00 on 2 June

Since last time was such a success, the faculty will open its doors again for you to study on the Saturday before exam week!

This time there are extended opening hours; you will have all day from 09.00 to 19.00. And if you’re worried that you’ll get hungry, no problem, Banditos will be open as well!

Practical information:

  • Entrance to FASoS is through GG90-92
  • Bikes can be parked in the courtyard (only this day!)
  • Building GG76 is open for studying

On Wednesday 6 June the FASoS Education Day takes place. The best tutors of both Arts & Culture and European Studies will be awarded the FASoS Education Prize. You can vote for your favourite tutor online. You have until 4 June to make your choice.
