Internship at Van Eyck Open Studios Maastricht

The Van Eyck is a post-academic institute based in Maastricht. The Van Eyck invites around 40 artists, designers, photographers, architects, curators, writers, and thinkers a year, to apply for a work period at the Jan van Eyck Academie.

The Van Eyck is looking for an intern from January – March 2019. The intern will mainly work on the organisation of the OPEN STUDIOS, which is planned on 14, 15 and 16 March 2019.

Join a Premium project: applications now open

Premium is the UM wide honours project for motivated MA students. Premium helps you develop your professional competencies. In Premium you work in an interdisciplinary team with 3 to 4 other UM students on a task for a real-world client. You are supported by a team-mentor and a personal coach and receive special training in workshops on e.g. project based work.

Internships at Dutch embassy in Athens, February – August 2019

Each year, the Dutch embassy in Athens, Greece, offers four internships; two in the spring and two in the fall. One is related to communication and migration and one is in the Orange Grove project. The internship has to be between five and six months. Candidates are invited to apply by Wednesday 14 November 2018.

Research Assistant Diversity & Inclusivity Maastricht University

UM’s Diversity Officer is looking for a motivated Dutch speaking student with research interest in the social sciences for a project on local First Generation Students (FGS = student whose parents did not attend higher education). UM, in collaboration with Hogeschol Zuyd and local schools, set up the FSG taskforce.

The appointment is for 10h/week for a period of fourth months. If you are interested, apply before 15 October.

Data Science Fellowship in US

The Data Incubator is an intensive eight-week fellowship that prepares master’s students, PhD candidates, and postdocs in STEM and social science fields seeking industry careers as data scientists. The FEM (Female Empowerment Maastricht) network of academics that aims to promote female leadership Maastricht University is looking for a third-year BA or MA student assistant from September 2018 onwards to help with setting up this new diversity-oriented network.
