Applications for the 2019 Humanity in Action Fellowships are now open. We invite applications from students and recent graduates who are passionate about advancing human rights, pluralism, and active citizenship. The following fellowships are available:

  • Fellowship in the United States (Atlanta, Georgia): 1 – 31 July 2019

Sign up for a VSBfonds scholarship, for Dutch students

Are you close to graduation and looking to follow up your education at UM with further study or research abroad? If so, you may want to find out whether you qualify for a VSBfonds Scholarship with a maximum of €10.000,-.

Every year, VSBfonds allocates grants to 165 motivated students who wish to further their personal development. For this year, about 50 percent of UM applications were accepted.

Internship at Van Eyck Open Studios Maastricht

The Van Eyck is a post-academic institute based in Maastricht. The Van Eyck invites around 40 artists, designers, photographers, architects, curators, writers, and thinkers a year, to apply for a work period at the Jan van Eyck Academie.

The Van Eyck is looking for an intern from January – March 2019. The intern will mainly work on the organisation of the OPEN STUDIOS, which is planned on 14, 15 and 16 March 2019.

Join a Premium project: applications now open

Premium is the UM wide honours project for motivated MA students. Premium helps you develop your professional competencies. In Premium you work in an interdisciplinary team with 3 to 4 other UM students on a task for a real-world client. You are supported by a team-mentor and a personal coach and receive special training in workshops on e.g. project based work.

Internships at Dutch embassy in Athens, February – August 2019

Each year, the Dutch embassy in Athens, Greece, offers four internships; two in the spring and two in the fall. One is related to communication and migration and one is in the Orange Grove project. The internship has to be between five and six months. Candidates are invited to apply by Wednesday 14 November 2018.
