Internship ‘Erotica through the Ages’: Research and Exhibition

Centre Céramique, the University Library and the Maastricht Antiquarian Book & Print (MABP) Fair offer an internship for FASoS BA and MA students. The internship focuses on collections of Erotica: sexually oriented publications, past to present. Students will research these works and pamphlets, help prepare an exhibition at the MABP Fair, and present their work to a larger audience.

FASoS researchers who are organising a workshop in Maastricht on Monday 9, Tuesday 10 and Wednesday 11 July are looking for student assistants to help. In return for your assistance you will receive the company of fascinating researchers and makers, as well as a €50 voucher for books (or something else of your choice).

The workshop brings together anthropologists, historians, makers, STS scholars and other researchers interested in the materials of teaching and learning.

CERiM awards UM/FASoS students with Summer School Scholarships

CERiM has awarded three UM students, Jules Bracke (UCM), Aslak Busch and Julia Käfer (FASoS, research master ES), with a scholarship for the summer school in Jakarta and Brussels in July on ‘Challenges to Multiculturalism and Multilateralism’, centred around the issue of managing diversities within societies in Europe and Southeast Asia, and between nations and regional organisations in the international society.

Dutch students in the final phase of their master studies at a Dutch university are invited to apply for an internship at the Dutch Embassy in Vienna, during the period from mid August 2018 to January 2019.
