Save the date: FASoS Career Orientation Day 2019, on 13 April

After a great success last year, Student Representatives are organising the ‘Career Orientation Day‘ again for all bachelor and master students at FASoS. So save the date: Saturday 13 April, 2019.

This day will give you an insight in the many different career paths we as humanities and social scientists can take.

Master students needed for FASoS student reps Career Event

For the upcoming Career Event, taking place around April and organised by the Student Representatives, we are looking for 2 Master students who want to join the organisation. If you want to get experience with organising events, work together with a small group of people and broaden your network of possible work sectors or even employers, join now!

Competition: we want your art in FASoS tutorial rooms

We would like the people of FASoS to help us decorate the tutorial rooms. Anyone can chip in and multiple people will be selected. This includes students, staff and supporting staff.

Send in your ideas to studentrep@maastrichtuniversity.nl or to our Facebook page. The deadline is 27 January 2019.

Student Representatives Year Report 2017/2018 published

Have you always wondered what the FASoS Student Representatives are up to? Would you like to know what they have been working on last year? If so, you can read the Student Representatives Year Report 2017-2018.

Study Saturday @ FASoS from 09.00-19.00 on 2 June

Since last time was such a success, the faculty will open its doors again for you to study on the Saturday before exam week!

This time there are extended opening hours; you will have all day from 09.00 to 19.00. And if you’re worried that you’ll get hungry, no problem, Banditos will be open as well!

Practical information:

  • Entrance to FASoS is through GG90-92
  • Bikes can be parked in the courtyard (only this day!)
  • Building GG76 is open for studying

Sustainability @ Fasos – student meeting on 7 May

Are you interested in sustainability? Then join us on Monday 7 May, 18.00 at our first open meeting for a sustainability association! As Student Representatives, we would like to support you and create a platform where students from FASoS can get together with the objective of making our faculty more sustainable. Your participation will not be binding for the next meetings, you’re welcome to just come along. More info can be found on Facebook.
