Project Close-Out ‘Entrepreneurial Thinking for Female Researchers’

Dr. Dorina Baltag has finalised her project ‘Entrepreneurial Thinking for Female Researchers’, awarded within the Diversity & Inclusivity Grants of Maastricht University, and is inviting every person who resonates with the theme of our project to attend the closing event for the Project.

EDLunch: Problems with the problem, on 28 May

Join the EDLunch ‘Problems with the problem: A reflection on ‘problems’ in PBL task design for the humanities’ presented by Sven Schaepkens.

This session for UM teaching staff takes place at EDLAB, TAPX (Building X, Sint Hubertuslaan), room 0.16 and includes lunch. The session is in English. The presentation with questions usually lasts from 12.00 – 13.00 and for those interested in discussing or networking for longer there will be time until 13.30.

GDS Conference on Official Development Assistance, on 7 June

Official Development Assistance: A Political Instrument or a Real Chance? This question will be the focus on the 2nd conference organised by students of the MA Globalisation and Development Studies, which will take place on Friday 7 June in the Attic of GG80-82 from 14.00 – 17.00.

This conference seeks to explore the ways in which ODA is shaped by national interests of donor countries and discuss implications of this type of assistance.

Concert of the Kazakh State Quartet, on 16 May

The national Quartet of Kazakhstan is coming to Maastricht, to launch their Benelux Tour! The Cellebroederskapel is a beautifull chapel up the road from FASoS where the concert will take place.

The concert is organised by the charity organisation: Stichting Spring Youth, which is set up by FASoS students. The foundation will donate all earnings to a fund that aims to educate underpriviliged youth.
