The Centre for European Research in Maastricht (CERiM) awards two prizes to appreciate efforts to integrate research and teaching, and to reward outstanding interdisciplinary research.
Nominations should be submitted in the form of a 1-page document laying down the reasons why the nominee (student or staff member) made an outstanding contribution to research/teaching integration or interdisciplinary research in the field of studies on Europe.
The two prizes are worth €500 each.
Nominations should be sent to cerim@maastrichtuniversity.nl before 14 February 2020, 16.00. More information on eligibility and procedure can be found here.
The prize ceremony takes place during the CERiM Annual Conference on 7 and 8 May 2020, as part of the Europe Week in Maastricht.
Communicating Europe Award for Research-Teaching Integration
This award is dedicated to an individual or group who has taken great efforts to integrate research and teaching in the field of studies on Europe (broadly defined).
Communicating Europe Award for Outstanding Interdisciplinary Research
Eligible for the prize are individuals and organisations, anywhere in the world, that have contributed to outstanding interdisciplinary research in the field of studies on Europe (broadly defined).
