The NWO Free Competition in the Humanities will end the open call procedure whereby applications can be sent at any time of the year. As of 1 January 2015, it will issue one annual two-stage call. The first deadline for pre-proposals is 1 April 2015. The deadline for full applications is 1 September 2015. The current procedure will remain valid until December 2014 and full proposals can be submitted. NWO will decide upon these applications by June 2015 at the latest.
