COST information session, on 11 April

Are you interested in setting up a (scientific) network, to for example do research with in the future? Do you want to know what funding is available from the EU (COST) and under which conditions? Are you interested in joining an existing COST network?

Then the UM COST information session on Thursday 11 April from 15.00 – 17.00 could be interesting for you!

Please register online before 8 April, 12.00.

A (European) COST-network aims at defining a future research strategy for a multidisciplinary problem. The core of such a network is that scientists from different disciplines and sectors, that work on different areas of the problem, that have not been combined before, are brought together to work on the problem in holistic approach.

The COST funding is intended for network activities and can be used to hold conferences, seminars and workshops, plus specific activities such as training of young researchers. Actual research is not funded by COST. Check the website for more information on the COST funding.

On Thursday 11 April from 15.00 – 17.00 there will be a UM wide information session on COST financing. The COST programme, structure and condition will be addressed by Roy Pennings, from 3d Impact BV, and practical experiences and tips and tricks will be shared by a successful applicant.

Interested in attending? Register by 8 April, 12.00. You will receive more information on the location after the registration.
