On Monday 6 January, FASoS staff was briefed in the Turnzaal by dean Sophie Vanhoonacker on the cyber attack against UM on 23 December.
The top priority after the cyber attack was to ensure education could resume as usual on Monday 6 January. Thanks to our IT staff – and also other staff members – that have worked continuously since the cyber attack, this has been made possible.
The student portal, eleum, the timetable and the library were all working again already before 6 January.
