The FASoS Faculty Board held two meetings on 13 and 27 September.
Decisions
• The Faculty Board agreed to finance the Faculty Drinks on 10 October, organised by Student Representatives.
• The Board approved the FASoS budget 2018 as well as the financial overview T8 (January through August 2017).
• The self-evaluation report MA Globalisation and Development Studies was discussed and subsequently approved.
• With regard to the FASoS minors criteria were proposed with regard to content, quality, finances, organisation, structure and solver hours. The Board agreed to this set of criteria for 2017/2018. Later this academic year the Board will start a broader discussion on the organisation of teaching at FASoS.
Announcements
• The Board supported the Manual Introduction New Staff, development by the HR department, which aims to give new colleagues a proper reception and introduction in the faculty. Guidelines will help to tackle practical, relevant matters such as Outlook, SOLVER and IMAR.
