During the annual NIG (Netherlands Institute of Government) conference in Nijmegen on 5-6 November, Esther Versluis was awarded the best supervisor award. She was selected from 8 PhD supervisors who have been nominated for this award. The jury report indicated that she received the award for best PhD supervisor because she is considered to be a true mentor who PhD students can rely upon.
