During a three-day stay in Moscow Dr Heidi Maurer (Politics) provided a seminar for Russian students on EU foreign policy, hosted by the Konrad-Adenauer Stiftung. After a first introductory part, she was joined by the Deputy Head of the EU delegation, Sven-Olov Carlsson, to discuss the current state of political affairs in the EU-Russia relationship.
The seminar was part of a series of events to allow students from universities in Moscow to engage with current European events, gain basic background understanding of European Union politics, and to have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss with experts. Next to the seminar, Dr Maurer also met with several policy-makers and academics.
