In April, the Faculty Board of FASoS held two meetings, on Wednesday 2 and Wednesday 16 April 2014. For an overview of the decisions and announcements:
Decisions
• The Faculty Board agreed to the purchase of ‘PhD track’, a software system to monitor the progress of PhD projects, to offer transparent ways of communication between PhD candidates and their supervisors, and to gain insight in the quality of the supervision.
• The Board approved both the profile report for the chair ‘Political Science, in particular political sociology’ and the proposed candidate.
