FASoS BKO workshop ‘Principles of Assessment’

How to grade and give useful feedback on exams and papers? How does the Dutch grading scale work? What are the implications of different grading cultures for our grading practices? And how do our students evaluate our assessment methods?

Tips and tricks with regard to grading and the use of assessment forms, how to provide useful feedback to students, do’s and don’ts in steering student learning processes

Do students think there is always a good connection between the content of the courses and the exam? What do they think about the various assessment methods we apply in FASoS (papers, open questions)? What kind of feedback do they expect on exams and do they always get this?
