Members of the Politics Department met for an extra-ordinary meeting on 11 November (11-11) at 11.11, to engage in a treasure hunt for the third bachelor. Two groups had to pass 18 hurdles from the attic, to the Spiegelzaal, to the parking lot, to Café Poort and to the catacombs of the faculty.
Proposed third BAs were reflected in costumes worn by staff members. Proposals ranged from extra-terrestrial studies, to US American (Trump) Studies, to Native American Studies, to Asian (Tiger) Studies, to dental tourism and to religious (protestant) studies. Staff members were also engaged in the pilot phase of the third BA and still had not found what they were looking for even though they carried binoculars…
In the vein of enhancing the good spirits both in a real sense of the word and metaphorical terms, spirits (from Tirol) were served and the winning team received a Special Chair.
