Wiebe Bijker and Valentina Mazzucato have recently been appointed chair and member, respectively, of the NWO-WOTRO Steering Committee. Other members from this seven-headed group are from universities in Twente, Wageningen, Delft, Groningen and Leiden.

NWO-WOTRO Science for Global Development programmes, funds and monitors innovative research on global issues, with a focus on sustainable development and poverty reduction.
