Film series at FASoS: The past didn’t go anywhere, in November/December

In the context of the European project EWORDS, Aline Sierp organises a series of six films that deal with various aspects of totalitarianism in different countries and under several regimes. The films will be shown in the Turnzaal at Fasos at 19.00 every Tuesday evening between 6 November and 11 December. Entry is free.

Before the screening of the film, a Fasos faculty member will give a short introduction to the topics and context of the film, and after the screening there will be time for discussion.

Film schedule:

  • 6 November: Animal Farm (UK, 1954)
  • 13 November: Katyn (Poland, 2007)
  • 20 November: Black Book (Netherlands, 2006)
