The first Continuing Professional Development (CPD) event at FASoS will be the faculty’s annual PBL Movie Night on 23 October 2019, from 18.00 – 21.00. The Movie Night is worth 4 CPD hours. While aimed at colleagues who are eligible to do CPD, the Movie Night is also open to others who wish to learn more about group dynamics and tutoring in a PBL environment. The first Continuing Professional Development (CPD) event at FASoS will be the faculty’s annual PBL Movie Night on 23 October 2019, from 18.00 – 21.00. While aimed at colleagues who are eligible to do CPD, the Movie Night is also open to others who wish to learn more about group dynamics and tutoring in a PBL environment. The Movie Night is worth 4 CPD hours: 1 hour for completing a survey and 3 hours for attending the (full) Movie Night itself.
The survey acts as a registration form for the Movie Night and consists of 4 questions, some of which also include a number of sub-questions. The survey also serves to:
- Have you do some preparatory work that will already help you reflect on the topic of the evening, namely group dynamics and tutoring in a PBL environment;
- Give us an insight into who you are and what you would like to discuss, so that we can organise an interesting and fruitful PBL Movie Night.
You have to complete the survey by Thursday 17 October 2019, 20.00, when registration closes. Completing the survey will require some thinking. Note that it is best displayed on a laptop or desktop computer.
Please note that the PBL Movie Night always follows the same principle as the BA ES BBQ. That is, everyone brings some food or drinks to share during the evening. The survey will ask you to indicate here what you plan to bring. Note that we will combine everyone’s input and may ask you to bring something else.
