From 1 January 2018, Giselle Bosse is (sole) Programme Director of the Research Master European Studies (MScES). Thomas Conzelmann, the previous co-director of the programme, has joined the Faculty Board as Associate Dean for Research.The MSc ES is a 2-year programme which offers tailored training for careers that require specialist knowledge and advanced research and communication skills to work in international, multidisciplinary environments.
The programme offers a wide range of thematic specialisations (Europe and the World / Governance and Representation in Europe / Historicising European Union) and methods trainings specialisations (Qualitative Research / Quantitative Research / Historical Research), alongside several graduation options (Double Degree with Cologne University, DE / Study Abroad / Extensive Internship). The MSc ES was awarded the ‘Top Rated Programme’ label in 2017 (Keuzegids).
