In this colloquium, the different NWA programmes will be presented, with a peak inside the behind the scenes and evaluation procedures of the NWA.
Jeanet Bruil will tell about the different instruments within the NWA, with specific attention for the Idea Generator, thematic programmes but of course also the Research along routes by Consortia (NWA ORC). She will also dive into the background and core values of the Dutch Science Agenda to mark the difference between the regular funding programmes.
Wiebe Bijker will continue this presentation focusing on the character of the NWA, forms of cooperation and what makes NWA ORC different.
Karin Bijsterveld will focus on the heuristic of proposals, especially the role of humanities in this type of funding instrument and how to make a case for a broad selection panel.
