On Thursday 12 April, from 11.00 – 12.30, a UM wide Rubicon information session will be held. The Rubicon grant makes it possible to visit and get experience at a top research institute abroad for a period of 12-24 months. Young researchers who are completing their PhD (thesis has to be approved), or have completed their PhD less than 12 months ago, are eligible to apply. The next deadlines in 2018 are 30 August and 29 November.
The meeting is open to all those interested in applying now or in the future. The NWO Rubicon coordinator will introduce the programme and the evaluation procedure, and will also shed some light on common misunderstandings. A Rubicon committee member plus possibly a Rubicon fellow will share their experiences with you. The programme is thus full of relevant information and experiences, and there will be enough time for Q&A.
