UM information session on NWO Rubicon Programme, on 7 May

Have you nearly or recently finished your PhD? Would you like to get some research experience abroad? In that case you might be interested in applying for a NWO Rubicon grant. The Rubicon grant makes it possible to visit and get experience at a top research institute abroad for a period of 12 – 24 months.

Interested? Join the UM information session on Tuesday 7 May, from 12.00 – 14.00. Please register online before 4 May.

The Rubicon grant makes it possible to visit and get experience at a top research institute abroad for a period of 12 – 24 months. Young researchers who have done research at a Dutch research institute (like the UM) for minimum three years fulltime equivalent, who are completing their PhD (thesis has to be approved), or have completed their PhD less than 12 months ago, are eligible to apply. Annually there are three submission rounds for Rubicon: around 1 April 1, 1 September and 1 December.

During the information session a representative from NWO will introduce the programme, a Rubicon fellow will share his experiences with the application and a committee member will share his experiences in selecting proposals. After the presentations there will be time for questions.

You will receive more information on the location after registration. For more information on the Rubicon programme, check the NWO website and/or contact your funding advisor.
