I studied at Maastricht University where I completed my BA in Arts and Culture and MA in Globalization and Development Studies. During my master I focused on migration and I conducted a fieldwork among migrant youth living in the Netherlands.
After my studies I worked with an NGO in Senegal for the socio-economic reintegration of returnee migrants.
Throughout my PhD I will research how migration campaigns and social media affect young Senegalese men’s aspirations and sense of social justice.
I am looking forward to discovering the faculty from a different perspective and being an active member.
