My name is Jasmijn van der Most and I recently joined FASoS as a teaching assistant in the Politics Department. This is a familiar environment for me, as I completed both my bachelor’s in European Studies and Research master’s in European Studies at Maastricht University.
I am mainly interested in the institutional, but also the policy side of European Affairs and therefore I wrote my master’s thesis on inter-parliamentary cooperation across different policy fields.
Last year, I did an internship at the European Institute of Public Administration in Barcelona, mainly working on issues such as the sharing economy, public procurement in the EU, as well as policy evaluation methods. Now, I am happy to be back in Maastricht, and explore university life from the other side and to teach in my old bachelor’s programme: European Studies.
