With the launch of the new BA Digital Society, FASoS is reinforcing its position as the hub at UM for Social Science and Humanities research into the Digital Society and Digitalisation! With this in mind, our colleagues from the Interfaculty Institute for Data Sciences (IDS) have organised an Introductory meeting to explore opportunities for further collaborations and partnerships between FASoS and IDS. Some of our colleagues from Health, Ethics & Society (HES – FHML) will also be present to discuss collaboration.
We hereby kindly invite you to this first Introductory meeting on Friday 28 June between colleagues from FASoS and IDS. The goal of this meeting is for FASoS and IDS colleagues to introduce themselves and their work, to get to know each other’s research interests and to explore opportunities for research, funding and/or education collaborations.

If you would like, we invite you to actively participate in this meeting by preparing 1 PPT-slide to briefly introduce yourself, your research interests and previous relevant research projects, networks and experience.
In addition, we would like you to already think about possible collaborations between FASoS & IDS. If you have ideas, please do not hesitate to share them with us in your PPT.
