Iskander De Bruycker (FASoS) and Evelien Willems (University of Antwerp) have a new research publication in Governance titled ‘Balancing Constituency and Congruence’.
The study shows that civil society groups are more likely to align with public opinion if they strongly involve their members in lobbying activities, while the opposite holds true for business lobby groups.
