Dr. Matthias Wismar will enlighten us during this Jean Monnet lecture.

When: 20 February, 18.30 – 20.00
Where: Spiegelzaal

Participation is free of charge, but registration via email to cerim@maastrichtuniversity.nl is required.

Public health in the EU can be complex to understand, especially because there are so many practices and differences between member states. And it is even harder when governance of European Public Health is constantly updated and new elements come in the game. Yet, under Article 168 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, public health is a competence shared between the European Union and EU countries.

Dr. Matthias Wismar is Senior Health Policy Analyst at the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies in Brussels.
