The KNAW Conference Grants Fund assists the organisers of international scientific/scholarly conferences in the Netherlands. The grant is intended to cover no more than a third of the total conference budget, with a ceiling of €8500. The conference budget may not exceed €170,000. Exceptions are possible; see the document Purpose and provisions of the Conference Grant Fund (in Dutch).
Applications may only be submitted for conferences that will take place at least three months after the closing date of the relevant tender. The application deadline is 1 May 2018 (for conferences taking place after 1 August 2018).
Be aware of the fact the KNAW is ending the Conference Grants Fund as from 1 May 2018. After 1 May 2018, it will no longer accept applications for this fund.
