Call for writers and artists for Mosaïek magazine

The FASoS community is expanding with a platform to enable freelance writers and artists to share their artistic urge. Mosaïek is an independent, non profit, student-run magazine, aiming to stimulate the arts, cultures, and social sciences. We are looking for freelance writers and artists to engage in our project. For more information contact mosaiek@maastrichtuniversity.nl by Monday 13 February.

The project has been on hold for over a year and it is time to revive this platform of intellectual and academic art. Not only will we be featuring articles by our freelance writers, it is our aim to incorporate photography, paintings, drawings, poetry, and any other form of art that tells a story.

Furthermore, it is our goal to create a community of collaborative nature for common-interested people, in the sense of a writing community where we will be focusing on peer review and improving your skills. Besides, getting to read the hopefully thought provoking articles our students offer, we hope to enrich you with further knowledge about writing and editing.

We encourage mainly Dutch and English writing. This is your opportunity to improve your writing in a friendly and informed community while still incorporating academic aspects.

If this speaks to you, please feel free to email us at mosaiek@maastrichtuniversity.nl and we will give you the dates of our first meeting. The application deadline is Monday 13 February.

If you have any questions, please just shoot us a message via email or Facebook!

Cheers,
The Mosaïek Team
