New coordinator of the Educational Policy Cluster: Joost Dijkstra

In January 2019 we will welcome a new colleague. Joost Dijkstra, who is currently working as a policy advisor at Academic Affairs (UM Office), will be the new coordinator of our educational policy cluster. Joost will succeed Sylvia Haerkens, who left FASoS in September this year. We are very happy that he will join us and we look forward to a fruitful collaboration!

Joost is trained as an educationalist (PhD) and has a lot of expertise in higher education policy as well as teaching. Assessment and Evaluation is his main field of expertise with a specific interest in quality improvement of higher education and a focus on development of assessment programmes. In his current role, he contributes to institutional projects as well. Examples are Constructive Alignment of curricula, Digital Assessment, and Teacher Professionalization – University Teaching Qualification (BKO).
