Do you work with someone who deserves a big thank you for putting their heart and soul into UM, be it on an academic, managerial or service level? Someone whose work at UM has made an exceptional contribution to society at large? If so, please nominate this special colleague for the 2019 UM Award.
The award will be presented at the next New Year’s reception on 6 January 2020. It consists of a bronze statuette, a certificate and a €500 dinner voucher.
Please submit your nomination (motivation included) no later than 18 November to Antoinette Stöcker, secretary of the jury. An independent jury, chaired by Dr. Nick Bos, will select one or more winners. Strict confidentiality will be maintained throughout the nomination process.

Nominations
- You may nominate only one employee (no groups or departments);
- Your nomination must include specific examples of the nominee’s social commitment or special contribution to UM;
- Deans and members of the Executive Board are excluded from nomination;
- You may nominate employees who have shown outstanding merit in the area of staff representation.
