On Friday 20 September NWO will organise an information session in English at their building in The Hague for researchers who wish to apply for a Veni, Vidi or Vici grant. Participants will receive practical information and hear insights and experiences from laureates, coordinators and committee members. The afternoon programme will focus on Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities.
With three types of personal grants, the Innovational Research Incentives Scheme (Vernieuwingsimpuls) focuses on different phases in the scientific career of researchers: Veni (doctorate recently obtained), Vidi (experienced) and Vici (at a professorial level). The aim of the Innovational Research Incentives Scheme is to stimulate innovation in scientific research. Talented, creative researchers are given the opportunity to carry out their research and in doing so to enter or gain promotion in scientific research institutes.
