NWO call for Responsible Innovation (MVI)

NWO invites consortia of researchers and private partners to submit applications for proactive research into ethical and societal aspects of new innovations. Teams must be multidisciplinary (including humanities, social sciences and natural sciences) and include at least one private partner. It is possible to apply for a small or a large project. The deadline for preliminary proposals is Tuesday 14 June.

One can apply for large projects, with a fixed budget of € 500.000,-, € 375.000,- or € 250.000,-, or for small projects, with a fixed budget of € 125.000,-.

The applications will be assessed on the following criteria:

• General scientific/scholarly quality
• Scientific/scholarly quality of the Responsible Innovation criteria
• Societal relevance and knowledge utilisation

The Advisory Board will check whether preliminary proposals fit in the scope of the programme. If so, applicants are invited to work out a full proposal. Deadline for full proposals is 8 September 2016.
