Find out more about the procedure here.

NWO Research Talent offers talented, upcoming researchers the opportunity to fulfill their ambitions of pursuing their scientific careers with a three-year PhD research project. NWO is expected to publish the call for this programme in July 2013 on their website: www.nwo.nl.
Maastricht University (UM) is allowed to nominate 10 applications, which will be shared with five other UM faculties with a relation to the behavioral and social sciences (FPN, SBE, FL, FHS, FHML). FASoS is allowed to nominate and rank 3 candidates for further consideration by the Faculty Board. The Faculty Board prioritizes one of these three proposals. The proposals will than be send to the Executive Board of the UM. The Executive Board of the UM takes a decision which proposals can be submitted to NWO. NWO evaluates and decides who will actually receive the grant. FASoS has organized an internal faculty selection procedure for submission of proposals to the UM Executive Board, who makes the final selection. Candidates from FASoS who want to apply for NWO Research Talent should follow the selection procedure below. Next to selecting the candidates, the procedure aims to help to ensure that candidates will submit their best possible applications. Note that candidates are to submit their first worked out proposals on October 21, 2013.
