Open call for General Member Programme Committee BA Arts and Culture

Are you interested in the organisation and quality of education at FASoS? Would you like to provide advice on the advancement of quality within FASoS programmes and on the Education and Examination Regulations? If so, please consider the vacancy for General Member of the Programme Committee BA Arts and Culture. Application deadline: Thursday 13 April.

The main task of a Programme Committee (PC) is to monitor and evaluate the quality of the programme(s) it is linked to. Every PC consists of a Chair, academic staff members and student members, and has an equal representation of staff and students. The BA PCs at FASoS meet about eight times per year and are supported administratively by a staff member from the policy cluster. For more information on the activities of a PC please consult the PC manual 2016-2017.

General Members of the PC take part in all PC meetings. They will prepare opinion statements according to the agenda and underlying documentation of every meeting, present reasoned arguments and views during the discussions, advise on the advantages and disadvantages of certain courses of action, and provide input for the PC advices and reports.

For this PC we are looking for two General Members. The selected candidates are expected to start on 1 September 2017 and will be appointed for a period of three years. The remuneration previewed for this position is 40 Solver hours.

Applications will be reviewed by the academic staff members of the current FASoS PCs and the Faculty Council, after which the Faculty Board will appoint the two General Members before the closure of Solver.
