Personal Metis

FASoS started with a new system to keep your output up to date: Personal Metis.  The manual as well as the powerpoint to get started with Personal Metis can be found at Intranet (Research Institute – Personal Metis). You should fill in your 2012 output in Personal Metis before 10 January 2013. A detailed overview of what to report can be found below.

 

In case you would like to use the student-assistant service to fill in your results, you should contact Lidwien Hollanders ( l.hollanders@maastrichtuniversity.nl) before 10 December 2012. The costs of the student-assistant are 25 EURO per hour.

In Personal Metis you should report the following for the Scientific Report 2012 (if applicable):

  • Article scientific refereed. This is a publication for which anonymous referee reports have been sent to either you or the editor of the journal. Please send the reports to your submission to Lidwien – otherwise they will be counted as non-refereed. The only exception is publications in peer-reviewed journals). Please note that journal articles have to have appeared in the main section of the journal. [1] Advance online publications of journal articles appearing in print in 2013 can be mentioned as 2012 publications.

·         Article scientific non-refereed (all other publications aimed at an academic audience)

·         Article professional (aimed at an professional audience)

·         Book scientific and Part of Book scientific. This is a publication for which anonymous referee reports have been sent to either you or the editor of the book. Please send the reports to your submission to Lidwien.

·         Book professional and Part of Book professional (aimed at an professional audience which has a clear link to our research)

·         Book popularising and Part of Book popularizing (aimed at a broader public)

·         Book review

·         PhD Thesis

·         Conference proceedings

·         Inaugural speech

·         Mediaperformance

·         Prizes and awards as an indication of scholarly reputation

·         Academic roles (Membership in scientific academies, advisory boards, NWO bodies etc. Please also insert here your membership to a national research school as well as courses you took at such a national research school)

·         Roles in non-academic bodies (think tanks, advisory councils, boards of cultural or other societal institutions, etc.)

·         Membership in editorial boards of journals or book series (do NOT include simple editorships)

·         Workshops and conferences organized by FASoS staff (include workshops and conferences organized by you, possibly together with colleagues, either at Maastricht, or elsewhere with use of FASoS money. Do NOT include workshops you attended, but which you did not organize)

·         Interviews and lectures for an academic as well as non-academic audience

[1]  Book reviews count as professional publications; article-length reviews of several books and forum contributions can qualify as articles.
