Results needed for Scientific Report

 

It is the time of the year again to start filling Personal Metis. You should fill in your 2013 output in Personal Metis before 10 January 2014. Under Read more you will find a detailed overview of what to report. In case you do not have any output, please inform Lidwien Hollanders before the deadline. In case you would like to use the student-assistant service to fill in your results, you should contact Lidwien before 10 December 2013. The costs of the student-assistant are €27,50 per hour.

In Personal Metis you should report the following for the Scientific Report 2013 (if applicable):

  • Article scientific refereed. For peer-reviewed journals it is NOT necessary to send anonymous referee reports to Lidwien. Online first publications of journal articles can be mentioned as 2013 publications. But: as soon as it appears in printed form it will not be included in the scientific report again.

·         Article scientific non-refereed (all other publications aimed at an academic audience)

·         Article professional (aimed at a professional audience)

·         Book scientific and Part of Book scientific. This is a publication at an academic publisher.

·         Book professional and Part of Book professional (aimed at an professional audience which has a clear link to our research)

·         Book popularising and Part of Book popularising (aimed at a broader public)

·         Book review

·         PhD Thesis

·         Conference proceedings

·         Inaugural speech

·         Report, these include advisory reports to public and private parties, such as municipalities, provinces or companies.

·         Media performance, these can include i.e. contributions to weekly or daily journals to magazines, or interviews for TV/radio.

·         Prizes and awards as an indication of scholarly reputation

·         Academic roles (Membership in scientific academies, advisory boards, NWO and EU bodies etc. )

·         Roles in non-academic bodies (think tanks, advisory councils, boards of cultural or other societal institutions, etc.)

·         Membership in editorial boards of journals or book series (do NOT include simple editorships)

·         Workshops and conferences organised by FASoS staff (include workshops and conferences organized by you, possibly together with colleagues, either at Maastricht, or elsewhere with use of FASoS money. Do NOT include workshops you attended, but which you did not organize)

·         Interviews and lectures for an academic as well as non-academic audience.

 

In a separate document (sent to research-fasos@maastrichtuniversity.nl) please indicate:

 

  • Approved applications for external funding in 2013 (title, funding scheme, partners, amount of money involved). You may be principal or co-applicant. All funds (including 3rd money stream projects) can be mentioned here.
  • Membership National Research School (e.g. WTMC; NIG; OSL etc.)as well as courses you took at such a national research school.
