In 2018, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) published a report on whether we can still limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius, and what the consequences would be. This lecture discusses how the report came about and how climate politics meets climate science within the IPCC.

The speaker at this lecture is Heleen de Coninck, PhD, Associate Professor of Innovation Studies, Environmental Science department, Faculty of Science at Radboud University. She is one of the main authors of the IPCC report that explains the impact of global warming of 1.5 degrees Celsius and how we can prevent this rise.
