Student Forum Maastricht 2017 took place at the Maastricht University Brussels Campus on 19-23 April. The conference was organised by 15 UM students, many of whom study at FASoS. The participants were supported by tutors from Maastricht University. In the next few days, SFM will publish the four policy proposals, which were developed for the European Commission. Your feedback is welcome!
Student Forum Maastricht (SFM) is an annual student conference organised by UM students and supported by FASoS. Each year, participants from all over Europe meet in Brussels for five days to debate a policy area with representatives from NGOs, academia and interest groups. They also meet with Commission representatives to hear what the European Commission is planning in the field they work on. This year, 40 participants from 19 countries developed policy proposals on European Healthcare, on how to stop Trafficking in Human Beings, on how to make European Cities more Sustainable and on Youth participation in the EU.
