Student Representative of the Week: Nathalie Hanner

The FASoS Student Representatives have started a series, in which you will be introduced to one Student Representative every week. Throughout the series, you will find out which representative can help you with your individual issues.

Vice-President Nathalie Hanner

My name is Nathalie Hanner and I am a second-year bachelor’s student in European Studies.

I am the Vice-President of this year’s Student Reps Team. As such I represent you in the FASoS Faculty Council. I am one of the five student members standing up for your interests in the council.

Together with my fellow council members, we work closely with staff members and ensure that students´ interests are not only represented but also actively discussed in terms of feasibility and implementation.

This is my second year as a Student Representative. I decided to continue my involvement in student politics because the way student-staff communication works at FASoS convinced me. We are taken seriously and can give input on any issue, whether programme-, study-, or faculty-related.

Our faculty has a very unique character and we all love the special atmosphere within the buildings, the breaks at Bandito and chats with fellow students with completely different backgrounds. As Student Representative, I can play an active role in maintaining this atmosphere and enhancing it where needed.
