Students of the 3rd years ES course ‘European Environment’ work on self-selected research projects in which they study a self-selected environmental issue to probe such entanglements. They will present their results at a workshop which takes place on 22 October, from 10.00-18.00 at FASoS.
Other FASoS (prospective) students who are interested in joining the workshop can contact the organiser Dr Jens Lachmund. Please note that places are limited.
Environmental problems are not only technical and scientific phenomena. They are inextricable entangled with political claims and institutional processes. As every year, students of the 3rd years ES course “’European Environment” work on self-selected research projects in which they study a self-selected environmental issue to probe such entanglements. The student projects thereby touch both on basic conditions of the current environmental crisis and on the challenges and dilemmas that complicate the quest for a more sustainable society.
