The University of Essex has launched a new International Visiting Fellows programme to attract established international academics to visit Essex and work with Essex staff. The scheme pays for travel costs and accommodation and provides a contribution to subsistence. In 2016-2017 there will be six short-stay fellowships (up to two weeks each). Short-stay International Visiting Fellows
- 31 July 2016 for visits from September to December 2016
- 30 November 2016 for visits from January to April 2017
- 31 March 2017 for visits from May to August 2017
Extended-stay International Visiting Fellows
- 31 March 2017 for visits from September 2017 to July 2018
